The Village of Clinton will be flushing water lines as part of ongoing work following the wildfire.
While flushing is underway, you may notice temporary changes to your water, including:
- Cloudy, milky or murky-looking water
- Changes in water pressure, including higher or lower pressure than usual
- Air in the water lines
This work will be ongoing from Thursday, August 20 – Friday, August 28
During this process, please continue to follow the current Boil Water Advisory recommendations for water use.
Residents should continue to:
- Run your cold water for about one minute before boiling or general use.
- Boil water used for drinking, preparing food, making ice, brushing teeth or other activities where water may be swallowed.
- Continue to use tap water for showering, bathing, laundry and household cleaning, following the existing Boil Water Advisory guidance.
Your water may look a little unpleasant for a short period while flushing is taking place.
This does not represent a change to the current Boil Water Advisory or the precautions residents should already be taking.
Thank you for your patience as this work continues.
