Official Community Plan and Zoning Bylaw Update Project

The Village of Clinton is undertaking a renewal of the Official Community Plan (OCP) and Zoning Bylaw (ZBL), and review of the Development Approval Process (DAPR) to guide the future of Clinton. These projects have the opportunity to foster a positive social, economic, and environmental impact on how Clinton grows and changes over time. 

After months of background work, engagement, and drafting; we are happy to have a Draft Official Community Plan and Draft Zoning Bylaw now ready for the community’s review. 

Where are we now – November 2025 

Public Hearing 

A Public Hearing will be held to consider the draft Official Community Plan and Zoning Bylaw

DATE: Wednesday, November 19th

TIME:  5:00 PM

PLACE: Council Chambers, 1423 Highway 97

All persons who believe their interest in property may be affected by the proposed bylaw and wish to register an opinion may do so by:

  1. Appearing before Council at the Public Hearing; and/or
  2. Forwarding written submissions for Council’s consideration, prior to 3:30pm November 17, 2025 to the Village of Clinton, PO Box 309, Clinton, BC, V0K 1K0; or Email: cao@village.clinton.bc.ca

The bylaws and other written information pertaining to this matter may be viewed at www.village.clinton.bc.ca, or at the Village office located at 1423 Cariboo Hwy. Clinton, BC, between the hours of 8:00am-4:00pm Monday to Friday, closed from 12:30pm–1:30pm daily for lunch, excluding statutory holidays.
