Official Community Plan and Zoning Bylaw Update Project
Where are we now – February 2026
The Village of Clinton has concluded our Official Community Plan and Zoning Bylaw Update Project. The bylaws are available Here.
We wish to thank the many passionate residents who assisted in the process of developing these bylaws. Because of your input, these bylaws have grown to reflect the heart of the community and the interest of Clinton Residents.
Below is historical information about the bylaw development process:
The Village of Clinton is undertaking a renewal of the Official Community Plan (OCP) and Zoning Bylaw (ZBL), and review of the Development Approval Process (DAPR) to guide the future of Clinton. These projects have the opportunity to foster a positive social, economic, and environmental impact on how Clinton grows and changes over time.
After months of background work, engagement, and drafting; we are happy to have a Draft Official Community Plan and Draft Zoning Bylaw now ready for the community’s review.
To inform the drafts, we did several check-ins to gather ideas and feedback from the community along the way. For more information about how we got here, please review the following:
