I saw the deadline for a Climate action initiative is July 31, 2026.
A good start for the Village of Clinton to combat Climate change would be to shade our waterways. Reg Conn Park had a small lake in it when I was a boy that has dried out significantly. Planting fast growing tree, species along the southern bank would keep the water cool during the hot summers. This would conserve water and help restore natural habitats.
