> PARKS AND RECREATION MASTER PLAN DRAFT
September 9, 2021: The Village of Clinton has been working with Urban Systems Ltd. on the development of a Parks and Recreation Master Plan. The Draft of this Plan has been accepted and is available for view. Any comments regarding the Plan can be submitted to the Village of Clinton before September 20th to be considered before the final Plan is accepted. The Draft can be viewed here.
> CAMPFIRE BAN LIFTED
August 27, 2021: The campfire ban for the Cariboo Fire District has been lifted. Category 2 and 3 open burning is still prohibited. Read more information here.
August 2, 2021: The Evacuation Alert for 1020 Chasm Road has been rescinded to All Clear. You can view the updated map here.
July 23, 2021: Fire Protection Kits are available to purchase for those who are interested. New Line Hose & Fittings has two kits available. For more information on the kits and their contact information read more here.
July 21, 2021: The Village of Clinton is now entering Stage II of the Water Use Bylaw - Watering Restriction Times. Irrigation or sprinkling is prohibited between the hours of 9:00am and 8:00pm. Even-numbered addresses may water on Monday and Thursday and odd-numbered addresses may water on Tuesday and Friday (within allowed hours).

July 5, 2021: The Village Fitness Room is now open. All Clinton residents will be given access to the room for no charge for July and August. To activate your membership please visit the Village Office during office hours (8:00am-12:30pm, 1:30pm-4:00pm) to sign the waiver and activate your swipe card. You will need to bring a card with you such as a points card or any card that has a swipe to activate with the gym membership (credit cards, debit cards, and driver's license will not work). June 30, 2021: The 2020 Annual Report for the Village of Clinton has now been posted and is available for public view. You are able to view the 2020 Annual Report here.
June 30, 2021: Effective at noon PST on Wednesday, June 30, 2021, campfires will be prohibited throughout the province of British Columbia. This prohibition will remain in effect until noon on Oct. 9, 2021, or until the order is rescinded. View full details here.

June 23, 2021: Once again the Village of Clinton has partnered up with the Thompson Nicola Regional District to bring the Invasive Weed program back. If you have any plant concerns and would like to participate in the program, please email Nikola at email@example.com or call the office at 250-459-2261.
June 18, 2021: COVID-19 Vaccine drop-in clinic taking place in the parking lot of the 47 Mile Sports Complex parking lot (NOT in Reg Conn Park as listed below) on Monday, June 21 from 11am-6pm.
May 31, 2021: Tax notices were sent out May 28th so should be in your mailbox by May 31. As of January 1, 2021, the Village of Clinton will no longer be accepting Home Owner Grant Applications. All applications MUST go through the Province of BC either online here, over the phone at 1-888-355-2700, or by visiting a Service BC location.
You will require a few things when applying for the grant including your SIN and the information below from your tax notice:
(a) you will need your jurisdiction number at the very top of your tax notice
(b) the roll number you will need is the coded number on the bottom left-hand corner of the front page of your tax assessment.
If you are still having some difficulties or know someone who doesn't have access to a computer to do this online, Service BC has a computer in their office that is available to use when they are open on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Fridays.

May 17, 2021: Effective June 7th, the Village Office hours will be changing to 8:00am-4:00pm (currently 8:30am-4:30pm). the Office will still close for lunch form 12:30pm-1:30pm.
