Public Information Meeting on Wildfires – July 29, 2026
The Thompson-Nicola Regional District (TNRD) and Village of Clinton are inviting those who are affected by ongoing wildfires in the Thompson-Nicola region to attend an online information meeting being held on Wednesday July 29, 2026 at 1:30 pm.

The main purpose of this meeting will be to provide information to residents and property owners under Evacuation Order or Evacuation Alert due to the Pear Lake wildfire, Ainslie Creek wildfire, French Bar Creek wildfire, and the Rim Lake wildfire.
These meetings will include an update from relevant agencies, including the TNRD Emergency Operations Centre, Village of Clinton, BC Wildfire Service (BCWS), BC Hydro, and Ministry of Transportation and Transit.
