The following notice and public hearing are required due to changes to the draft Zoning bylaw. A summary of the changes can be found HERE.
Pursuant to Section 465 of the Local Government Act RSBC 2015, the Council of the Village of Clinton gives notice it will hold a Public Hearing:

PLACE: Council Chambers, 1423 Highway 97
to consider Village of Clinton Zoning Bylaw No. 607, 2025.
The purpose of Village of Clinton Zoning Bylaw No. 607, 2025 is to replace the Village of Clinton Zoning Bylaw No. 439, 2007 in its entirety and all amendments thereto. Zoning Bylaw No. 607, 2025 will become the new Zoning Bylaw for the Village of Clinton.
The Zoning Bylaw provides a clear and efficient system of land use regulation for the orderly, economic, beneficial, equitable and environmentally sensitive use, development, and redevelopment of the Village of Clinton having regard for the provisions of the Village of Clinton Official Community Plan Bylaw No. 606, 2025.

Clinton, BC, between the hours of 8:00am-4:00pm Monday to Friday, closed from 12:30pm–1:30pm daily for lunch, excluding statutory holidays.
All persons who believe their interest in property may be affected by the proposed bylaw and wish to register an opinion may do so by:
- Appearing before Council at the said Public Hearing; and/or
- Forwarding written submissions for Council’s consideration, prior to 3:30pm February 11, 2026 to the Village of Clinton, PO Box 309, Clinton, BC, V0K 1K0; or Email: cao@village.clinton.bc.ca
