There’s something about Canada Day in Clinton that just feels different — maybe it’s the way the morning light hits the hills above Reg Conn Park or how kids start showing up way too early because they can’t wait for the activities to start. Either way, we’re doing it up right again this year.

• Family Games & Prize Draws

Every year I swear I’m just going to “stop by for an hour,” and somehow I’m still chatting with half the village under the big cottonwoods by mid-afternoon. Honestly, it’s one of my favourite days — that perfect mix of red-and-white pride and small-town charm.
